Introduction
Below is a detailed review of the Regency Club Lounge at Hyatt Regency Bali, if you want to check out other parts of the hotel - read our full review here.
Overall it's definitely one of the better hotel lounges I've experienced. The food spread at the happy hour is substantial enough to make a full dinner. That said, breakfast is weak with very limited options versus the main buffet at the Omang Omang. And at $110 USD / per day for 2 adults, the lounge is a convenience upgrade rather than a money-saver.
Arrival
The Regency Club is signposted off a garden path, past stone lanterns and a small bridge. Check-in happens at two carved timber desks under a high alang-alang roof, which is a much calmer start than the main lobby.

The Space
This is one of the better-looking club lounges in Bali. It's an open-sided pavilion rather than a sealed room, with teak furniture, rattan armchairs and plenty of separate seating clusters, so it rarely feels crowded.

The best tables sit on the edge of a lily pond with a stone shrine in the middle, and there's a shaded deck outside if you want the garden.

Happy Hour (5-7PM Daily)
Evening cocktails are the highlight. A bartender mixes to order from a short printed menu: Negroni, Tommy's Margarita, Mojito and two G&Ts made with local East Indies gin.

Two Islands rosé, sparkling wine, Bintang and soft drinks sit in the fridge for self-service.

The food is substantial enough to replace dinner. A live grill turns out chicken yakitori, joined by beef sliders, spring rolls, samosas, martabak, shepherd's pie, bacon-wrapped meatballs, mac and cheese and an Indonesian fish curry.

Chilled cabinets hold cold cuts, cheese, kimchi and hummus, then desserts: tiramisu, chocolate almond cake and a coconut passion cake.

Breakfast and Daytime
By day the pondside tables come into their own. Breakfast is mostly Indonesian options - covering omelettes, mie goreng, noodle soup, satay, Indonesian kue and a generous fruit plate. I would definitely recommending doing the main breakfast at Omang Omang instead.

Verdict
Made-to-order cocktails, a proper hot spread and a genuinely beautiful setting make the Regency Club worth the upgrade. If you'd prefer eat out anyway then the value proposition is less compelling.
