Frasers House Singapore Review: An Unexpected Gem
I was excited to try Frasers House after its rebranded from InterContinental. I had high hopes after reading comments from IHG fans who were disappointed to lose their best property in Singapore, and the property delivered. I was a bit wary that the property would feel dated, espcially with the brand new Edition and the renovated St Regis going for the same rates. Afterall I think I made the right decision. The property was beautiful, its location was perfect and the stay felt seamless, with the operational excellence of a hotel being in the business for 30 years.

Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Review: A Disappointing Stay
I left the Portman Ritz-Carlton feeling like I'd stayed at a 4-star hotel with a Ritz-Carlton sign on it. The location is genuinely good and the pricing is affordable. Everything else - the room, the breakfast, the one restaurant - is a long way behind what the rest of Shanghai is offering.
